HIMILAN™as a Polymer Modifier for Polyamide
Because of its excellent compatibility with polyamide resin, HIMILAN™ work as a polymer modifier to improve moldability and impact resistance by blending with polyamide resin.
Polyamides are expected to undergo various types of degradation—such as thermal degradation, fatigue degradation, and oxidative degradation—depending on their application and operating environment. Moreover, as polyamide resin easily absorb moisture due to hydrophilicity of its amide groups, it is reported that recycled polyamide by material recycling shows changes in physical properties and significant change in dynamic viscoelasticity of temperature spectrum when more than 5wt% of moisture absorbance.
Blending HIMILAN™ as a polymer modifier can be a solution for such technical issues of recycle polyamide resin.
